ancillary.JPG Users have access to a number of workstations onsite, as well as, a LINUX cluster with 16 nodes with four processors each, and 4GB of RAM per node, with an assortment of software for image processing of electron micrographs.

nikon.JPG Users have access to a Nikon Eclipse Ti-U fluorescence microscope system with a Photometrics HQ2 Digital Camera and Nikon motorized stage. The scope is fitted with a FEI Cryo Stage 2 System - a liquid nitrogen cooled microscope stage which can be used on inverted fluorescence research microscopes. It allows screening of electron microscopy grids by means of light microscopy prior to an investigation by SEM or TEM. More info on the Nikon Eclipse microscope.
