How do I start?

Note: The resources of the NYSBC are available for your use at no cost if you belong to a member institution.

1) Read thoroughly both the EM Introduction and Beginning an EM project pages in order to familiarize yourself with Cryo-EM and how the NYSBC can help in furthering your project. For examples of previous work done at the CEM facility, review the CEM Publications.

2) Learn more about the equipment and resources at the NYSBC CEM Facility.

3) Find out more about eligibility and how to use the NYSBC here.

4) Contact the CEM Staff at cem@nysbc.org and/or your representative on the CryoEM Operations Committee.

5) Create an account on the NYSBC Intranet and register your project. For quick overview of the intranet click here.
