Objective

Serve as an isolated data server for backup of NmrfacGroup and CemfacGroup instruments, and the CompaqDL380 nfs system. Connects to the tape drive(s), the scientific virtual subnets associated with facilties, and with the CompaqDL360 ftp server.

CompaqML530 data server

This is now a "frozen" cofiguration since NAS net drives can do these functions and will replace this unit at sometime in the future.
