IMOD - conversion of MRC stack to series of tif images

  • Under "Edit" menu, choose "Movies..." --> opens up the "3D Mod Movie" Control panel
  • In this menu, select radio button "TIFF" under Snapshot
  • Choose Round Trip or not -- Round trip goes forwards then backwards, doubles frames from one way
  • Choose Start/End points. Default is entire tomogram
  • FPS does not matter
  • When done, right click on image to advance through series and save the stack as tif files
  • NOTE: This window must ramin open for the files to be saved - don't close it
  • Files are called zap000.tif, zap001.tif,... and are put in same directory.
  • Go to MovieMaking to make a movie of these images.

  • Set ALLOWTOPICVIEW =
