Replace Diaphrams on Gatan Dry Pumping Station

• Service only pumping station at the same time. Make sure at least one is working.
• You will need:
  • Gatan hex key set from drawers below 2100 pumping station
  • Gatan MVP 015 Service Kit #08503
  • 11mm (pump removal) and 14mm (filter removal) crescent wrenches
• Remove Black ring from opening to Turbo pump
• Remove blue cover
• Cover opening of turbo pump with tin foil
• Remove 4 hex screws on both sides of MVP
• Clean all 6 surfaces of the plates
• Unscrew diaphragms on each side
  • Make sure new diaphragms are tightly secured or they will strip the arms of the pump requiring a pump replacement.
