META-GROUP MEETINGS – NYSBC Held in A-11 Park Building

NEXT MEETING ...

  • We would like to provide each participating group the opportunity to conduct a 'group meeting' at NYSBC in whatever format the group finds appropriate.
  • For example, recently published work, work in progress, and comments and reviews of new literature are all possibilities.
  • Presentations by postdoctorals, and late-stage graduate students are encouraged in a friendly atmosphere.
  • There will be an experimental approach to delivering the meetings remotely via GotoMeeting and phone conference calling. Watch the twiki site GotoMeeting for details
  • The "standard" schedule is the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
  • Principal Investigators can book themselves into the pages in any blank date themselves. VOLUNTEER NOW

During term time, following the CCNY Biochemistry Seminar, about 1:30 pm at NYSBC, light lunch served. If you are attending and want lunch, please email mailto: attend -at- nysbc.org

ONE DAY NMRVIEWJ WORKSHOP

Burce Johnson of One Moon Scientific has kindly agreed to give a one day workshop on NMRVIEWJ. This workshop is a tutorial based so *PRE-REGISTRATION* is required as there are limited number of space. At present NYSBC can accommodate about 25 people. The space will be allocated on a first come first served. If you are interested then please send an email to Kaushik Dutta at dutta@nysbc.org. The final attendee's list will be posted on the Twikipage and also be notified by email. ; All attendee's should bring their laptop already loaded and fully tested with the NMRViewJ (available from http://onemoonscientific.com/nmrview/download.html ). NYSBC staff will not do any debugging of NMRVIEWJ. NYSBC will provide limited electrical outlets therefore it is adviced that you charge your laptop battery to full before coming to the workshop. NMRVIEWJ is available for both window's and Mac users. The data sets which are required will be posted at the NMRViewJdata soon.
The schedule of the workshop is posted at NMRViewJ workshop.
