Click on "Edit" button at top or bottom of any page
some pages are write-protected, in which case you will receive an error message to that effect
pages are also write-protected when another user is editing it
this prevents confusion when two people are editing the same page, simply wait a while and try again
When finished with your edits, click on "Save" button at bottom of page
if unhappy with the result, you may hit "Edit" again or simply use "back" button on your browser
Make sure to click "Save" or "Cancel" when you are finished, otherwise the page will be locked for ALL other users
Editing syntax for Calendar
In "Edit" mode, you will not see the calendar layout
Instead, you will see a series of dated entries that are used by the TWiki engine to generate the calendar
Simply make/change an entry for a desired date with the desired user's name
Please keep the entries in chronological order as setup by NYSBC staff
If possible, please use the username for individual people, such as yours -- TWikiGuest . This provides an easy link to the users intranet page with contact information
Finally, please include name of institution in parenthesis for quick reference: e.g., DavidStokes (NYSBC)
Editing syntax for Tables
In "Edit mode, you will not see the table
Instead, you will see a series of entries separated by "|"
These "|" function as the column separators and can be placed at arbitrary locations along a given line
each line represents a row in the column
Enter you name and other information between "|" characters so that they appear in the appropriate columns of the table
Use the "Preview" button to make sure your changes look as expected
