ONE DAY CARA WORKSHOP

DECEMBER 6th 2007 11:00 - 15:00

Serge Ilin-Schneider of Sloan Kettering has kindly agreed to give a one day workshop (11:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M.) on CARA. This workshop is a tutorial based so PRE-REGISTRATION is required as there are limited number of space. At present NYSBC can accommodate about 15 people. The space will be allocated on a first come first served. If you are interested then please send an email to Kaushik Dutta at dutta@nysbc.org. The final attendee's list will be posted here and also be notified by email.

All attendee's should bring their laptop already loaded and fully tested with the CARA (available from http://www.cara.nmr-software.org/downloads/ for Windows, Mac and linux). NYSBC staff will not do any debugging of CARA. NYSBC will provide limited electrical outlets therefore it is advised that you charge your laptop battery fully before coming to the workshop. The data sets which are required will be posted at this page soon.

This workshop will cover the basic handling of CARA, manipulation of 2D and 3D datasets, linking data sets or projects, peak picking, backbone assignments and noesy assignments etc.

Applications for Registration. ACTUAL REGISTRATION MAY BE LIMITED!
