Application for 900 MHz NMR time at NYSBC by external users

  1. Be a TWiki user of this site. You must use your own login name (WikiName).
  2. Please attach a current NIH Biosketch ( see http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/phs398/biosketch.doc ) to your own page of the TWikiUsers? page as a word .doc file or an adobe .pdf file.
  3. Please attach to your own page of the TWikiUsers? page in a word .doc file or an adobe .pdf file of about 1 page single spaced,
    1. a brief description of the overall project for which the 900 may play a part.
    2. a brief identification of the experiments to be run
    3. a justification of how your project will contribute to testing the advantages of ultra high field NMR in structural biology.
  4. Please attach to your own page of the TWikiUsers? page in a word .doc file or an adobe .pdf file of about 1 page single spaced,
    1. preliminary data showing the possible feasibility of what is proposed and the restrictions of resources currently available to you
    2. statement of NMR resources available to your research and why they are not currently adequate. Please be advised that the amounts of time available under the NSYBC program are quite limited, so "inadequate time" on local facilities will not be a strong argument for your proposal.
  5. If you wish your application to be viewable only by NYSBC staff, then edit your own page on the TWikiUsers? page to add your WikiName to the end of the line for " *set ALLOWTOPICVIEW = "

Notes

  1. If you are unable to login or use the TWiki pages, please email infotech@nysbc.org or call 212 929 0660 x 420
  2. If you have other questions, please address them to nmrschedule@nysbc.org. Many questions are answered at a specific FAQ list -- http://www.nysbc.net/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralAvailable900#FAQs
  3. If you don't use your TWiki registration in the next month, it will be deleted.
