DMPC + C12E8 room temp (April 25, 2011)

DMPC (1 mg vacuum-dried film) was mixed with C12E8 (1 ml of 0.05 mg/ml). A total of 30 ul of 5 mg/ml C12E8 (~0.2 mg total) was added to completely solubilize DMPC (6 additions of 5 ul of 5 mg/ml C12E8). 100 ul aliquots of the DMPC-C12E8 mixture were distributed into a 96-well plate. A1 - A4 had 8 beads (~2 mg) per well and incubated (room temp with shaking) for 30 minutes, 1 hr, 3 hrs, and overnight, respectively. B1-B4 had 4 beads (~1 mg) per well and incubated for for 30 minutes, 1 hr, and overnight.

DMPC (1 mg) was mixed with DDM (1 ml of 0.05 mg/ml). 150 ul of 5 mg/ml DDM (~0.75 mg total) was added to completely solubilize DMPC. 100 ul aliquots of the DMPC-DDM mixture were distributed into a 96-well plate. H1 - H11 had 8 beads (~2 mg) per well and incubated (room temp with shaking) for 30 minutes, 1 hr, 1.5 hrs, 2 hrs, 3 hrs, 4 hrs, 5 hrs, 6 hrs.

A1 - A10 had 8 beads (~2 mg) per well and incubated (in fridge, 4 degrees) for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hr, 2 hrs, 3 hrs, 4 hrs, 5 hrs, 6 hrs.
