Data Transfer using the SFTP Server for NMR and CEM Facilities.

NMR

Data generated by the spectrometers is available for download via SFTP. The data on the SFTP server is refreshed every 10 minutes.

CEM

Data generated on the CEM instruments is available for download on the following day. CEM data is refreshed every 24 hours.

Note

The SFTP Server is accessible via a T1 Line. Under ideal conditions, approximately 11MB of data can be transferred over a T1 line in one minute. A large file that is still being written to as in a running experiment will be refreshed at the next sync, and the SFTP download will fail since the file was modified before the download completed.

Detailed instructions on accessing the SFTP Server are available at http://www.nysbc.net/INFOTECH/sftp.html.
