Workshop in Dual-Beam Scanning Electron Microscopy at the New York Structural Biology CenterThis workshop will introduce the new Helios 650 Nanolab microscope at NYSBC and illustrate its capabilities for producing large scale (10um x 10um x 10um) 3D reconstructions through resin-embedded tissue as well as for preparing frozen, whole-mount cells for electron tomography. In the literature, this method is alternately referred to as Focused Ion Beam (FIB) milling and Ion Abrasion SEM.
