| 700: The FCNMR high-field field-cycler (HFFC), a belt driven shuttle device, has been installed. The spectrometer is still available for standard non-shuttled experiments. The only difference though is the eject air is no longer used to insert sample in the magnet. This function is now done using the shuttle, it requires the use of unbroken shigemi or 7" standard tubes. Because of mechanical limitations 8" or 9" standard tubes or shigemi tubes that are short because of damage cannot be used. | ||||||||
